VHI & VIRGIN AMERICA PARTNER FOR ON-DEMAND MUSIC VIDEOS

Virgin America and VH1 have partnered to offer the first domestic, on-demand music video library on the next generation carrier's New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC and Las Vegas routes. The Virgin America-VH1 music video library, available on the state-of-the- art Red(TM) inflight entertainment system, includes videos from the most popular artists and genres featured on VH1 networks, including Maroon 5, Shakira, John Legend, Lily Allen, Kelly Clarkson, Nelly Furtado, Mika and many more. The inflight music library is expected to expand to up to 50 music videos, including the "can't be missed" performances featured on VH1 Classic and VH1 Soul networks. Soon guests will also be able to make music video playlists and preferences inflight through Virgin America's Red(TM) inflight entertainment system."

Virgin America is all about bringing a little fun back to flying and music is a key component of this -- from the soundtrack in our bathrooms to the 3,000 free MP3 tracks featured on our in-seat entertainment system," said Charles Ogilvie, Director of Entertainment and Partnerships at Virgin America. "VH1's incredible catalog of music videos will take this to the next level, by offering our guests a totally unique and fun onboard music and entertainment experience." All music videos are free of charge to every guest on every Virgin America flight."

VH1 connects adult music lovers to the artists they love as well as to acts new to the scene," said Nigel Cox-Hagan, Senior Vice President, Creative Group and Consumer Marketing, VH1. "Partnering with Virgin America to offer our most popular videos and artists on-demand on Red(TM) is an excellent way to extend our music mission and provide fans with the opportunity to check out new artists and to hear and see music even at 35,000 feet."
