BONEY JAMES’ NEW CHRISTMAS CD

Boney James is wrapping production on a brand-new Christmas CD, due to be released this fall. Christmas Present (Concord) is James' second holiday collection, and his first in 11 years since Boney's Funky Christmas. On this new set, trumpeter Rick Braun will guest on "The First Noel" while vocalist Angie Stone sings "Merry Christmas Baby" and Chante' Moore does "Santa Baby." Other tracks planned include Joni Mitchell's "River" and everyone's favorite Charlie Brown holiday song, "Skating," originally done by Vince Guaraldi. Boney's current CD, Shine, is the gift that just keeps giving: the new single, "Hypnotic," is the second Number One from the project
